According to the Evening Standard, the Premier League giants have been in regular discussions with the 16-year-old over a potential transfer, with Endrick being chased by every major club in Europe as Chelsea look to sign the Brazilian when he turns 18 in 2024.
As per the report, Chelsea have held talks with the player and his representatives as the west London side look to beat the likes of Real Madrid and PSG to Endrick’s signature, with journalist Jorge Nicola recently reporting that Arsenal and Tottenham are also interested in signing the Palmeiras striker.
With a release clause worth €70m (£61m) according to Mundo Deportivo, Endrick set to become one of the most expensive teenagers in world football as well as one of the most expensive South American exports directly from the continent, with the attacker recently making his professional debut for Palmeiras as well as bagging his first goals.
Indeed, Endrick is quickly becoming one of the most lucrative names in football. And for Arsenal and Tottenham, there is a real chance that Chelsea could win the race to sign the Brazilian with the west London side holding proactive talks with the player in recent weeks.
However, whilst Chelsea might be the leading side in the Premier League for Endrick, this doesn’t make Graham Potter’s side the favourites to land the Brazilian. With either Madrid or PSG still the most likely destination for the 16-year-old wonderkid given the extreme nature of his potential and quality.
